Gourd Art Retreat

Come join me for a 4day, 3night retreat to Edisto Beach, South Carolina. Winter on the beach at Edisto is relaxing, beautiful and inspiring. The summer crowd is gone, revealing the natural beauty and wonder of this wetland coast. If you are an artist, naturalist or just enjoy the beauty of the South Carolina coast-line and are interested in learning more about creating gourd sculpture, you will love this retreat.

I will be teaching an in depth class on creating zoological gourd sculpture. We will be creating a large fish sculpture.You will learn about the tools, materials and techniques that I use to create the works seen on this site.

Accomodations, all supplies and lunch each day are included in the fee. We will be staying in a beach front home with a full kitchen and three baths. This class is limited to 8 students, possibly more if accomodating couples. Please e-mail me if you are interested in reserving a space.
